Fractional CTO and head of AI
Senior technology and AI leadership, part time
Many companies need the judgement of a chief technology officer or a head of AI long before they need one full time.
We work with founders and boards for a set number of days a month: deciding what to build and what to buy, putting AI to work where it pays, and holding developers and suppliers to what they promised.
We run our own software every day: two lead generation platforms and the automated data and AI work behind them. That is the experience we bring to yours.
What we take on
- Technical direction and a plan the board can read
- Where AI saves time or money, tested on real work first
- Choosing, briefing and managing developers and suppliers
- Data, automation and the systems that run the business
- A second opinion before a large technology spend
How it works
Each step is agreed in writing before the next one starts.
Initial conversation
What the business does, what it is trying to change and what is in the way.
Written proposal
The work, the number of days a month and the fee, set out before anything starts.
Monthly work
Direction, decisions and reviews, reported to you each month.
Hand over
What we set up stays yours, documented, when the engagement ends.
Common questions
What does a fractional CTO do?
The same job as a full-time chief technology officer, for a set number of days a month: decides what to build and what to buy, sets the technical direction, reviews the work of developers and suppliers, and answers to the board for it.
What does a head of AI do?
Works out where AI saves time or money in your business, tests it on real work before anyone commits to it, and puts the parts that work into everyday use with the checks that keep them honest.
How is it charged?
By the month, for an agreed number of days, set out in writing before any work begins. There is no success fee on this work.
Do you write the software yourselves?
Where it is the quickest way to prove something works. For a lasting build we help you choose, brief and manage the developers or suppliers who do it, so the work stays yours.
