Data licensing for AI
License the data your company already holds
AI developers pay to license real data they can’t collect themselves: documents with checked answers, records, recordings and work reviewed by experts.
We find the developers that need your data, describe it to them without naming you, and handle the NDAs, questions and evaluation that follow. When a buyer is ready, you sign the licence with them directly.
If you’re an AI team looking for data, tell us what you need. We work directly with the companies that own the data, not with resellers.
If you own data
- We find the AI developers that need data like yours
- We handle every buyer’s NDA, questions and due diligence
- You compare the offers and choose the buyer
- Our fee is a share of what you receive, paid when the licence is signed
If you need data
- Data licensed directly from the company that owns it
- The owner confirms in writing that it has the right to license the data
- A sample to evaluate under NDA, with personal data removed
- One point of contact from first enquiry to signed licence
How a deal works
We’re paid a share of what the owner receives, and only once the licence is signed.
Initial call
A confidential conversation about the data and what the owner wants from a deal.
Anonymous summary
A short description, approved by the owner, goes to suitable buyers.
NDA
Interested buyers sign an NDA, and the owner approves each one.
Evaluation
The buyer reviews a sample under evaluation terms.
Licence
Owner and buyer sign the licence directly with each other.
The data AI developers license
What makes data valuable for AI is usually the work done on it: the checked answer, the expert label, the corrected extraction.
If your company holds records like these and has the right to license them, there may be buyers for them. Tell us what you hold and we’ll give you an honest view of the market.
Examples
- Financial documents and statements
- Contracts and legal filings
- Forms, invoices and receipts
- Customer conversations
- Speech, audio and video

- Expert-reviewed answers
Common questions
What does it cost?
Nothing up front. For a data owner, our fee is a share of what it receives from a buyer we introduce, agreed in writing before we start. Buyers pay the owner under the licence.
Will buyers know who we are?
Not until you approve them. Buyers first see a short anonymous summary that you’ve approved. A buyer that wants to go further signs an NDA before it learns your name or sees a sample, and only once you’ve agreed to it.
Does the data pass through you?
No. The licence is between you and the buyer, and the data goes directly from you to them.
What about personal data?
The data in these deals is usually about companies rather than people. Personal data is removed from samples, and the licence sets out how any that remains is handled.
Does the licence have to be exclusive?
No. Most data licences are non-exclusive, so the same data can be licensed to more than one buyer. Exclusivity is possible where a buyer pays for it.
Do you give legal or tax advice?
No. We bring the two sides together and help agree the commercial terms. Each side takes its own legal and tax advice.
Get in touch
Tell us what you have or what you’re looking for, and we’ll reply by email. Everything you send us is treated in confidence.
If you own data, it helps to know what it is, roughly how much there is and who owns it. Please don’t send samples yet: we only ask for those once an NDA is in place.
